Easter Elite Skills Clinic

  • April 19, 2017

To conclude Easter weekend, 37 young basketball enthusiasts participated in our second Elite Skills Clinic on Monday 17th April at Harrow High School in Northwest London. The day covered a number of topics including 1 on 1 attack moves and finishing techniques.

Coach Maitland’s Elite Skills Clinics are designed to provide players with the opportunity to learn and develop a number of advanced skills that can help them become more efficient basketball players. The clinic is structured to ensure that each player performs a high number of quality repetitions of each skill to maximise their experience on the day.

“I’m passionate about working with players of all abilities. At the Easter Elite Skills Clinic, we had a range of talent in attendance. We welcomed local players who compete for their school teams and we also had a high number of national league players from various clubs from outside of London in addition to many from within the Capital. We also had several players who are currently on the Player Performance Pathway such as, the U11, U13 and U15 Regional Programmes, U15 National Development Programmes and the U18 National Squad. All players were stretched and challenged and it was rewarding to see how positively these individuals interacted and motivated each other.”

Following the success of our Elite Skills Clinics, more dates will be announced soon.
